How to change Bank Account?​

We understand that sometimes businesses need to change bank account due to many reasons. As a merchant you need to understand changing a bank account will not happen overnight due to compliance reason. Banks want to verify details before they add a new account since in the past agent/company scammed merchants by giving their bank details, so bank want to make sure it is coming from merchant itself. It requires merchant to submit "CHANGE OF BANKING INFORMATION" form along with Voided Check or Bank Letter.
The whole process will take 2-3 days to change bank account once you submit.
Step 1: Fill out the "CHANGE OF BANKING INFORMATION" form. (We will email you the form based on the processing company you are with)
Step 2: Prepare a copy of your new bank account voided check or a bank letter containing your business name, routing number and account number on bank letterhead.
Note: If you do not have a voided check we recommend, go to your bank, and ask for bank letter.
For voided check make sure your business name and business address are shown in the voided check and you also need to write “Void” in the check.
For Bank Letter make sure your business name, address, account, and routing number mentioned as well as it should say the “Account is Open and Active” with a signature from the person who created the bank letter and a stamp from the bank.
Step 3: Send us back the "CHANGE OF BANKING INFORMATION" form and include a copy of your new voided check or a bank letter containing your business name, routing number and account number on bank letterhead. Sent it to sales@swipecard247.com
Note: You must send us change of banking information form along with proof of new account documents. If you don’t send us form, we will not be able to change the bank account. We will 100% help you in filling out the form if you need our help.
Step 4: Please wait 2-3 business days for the changes of bank details to be completed.
Note: You can still use your processing service/terminal during the process. If the old bank account is closed the fund is hold until the new bank info changes is completed. If the old bank account is still open, the old bank will still receive the funds during the process or while waiting for the changes of bank details to be completed.
Note: Depending on the processing company, they might charge one time fee to change the bank account or ACH Return Fee every time they are trying to send the bank to your old bank account if it is close. Do not worry about your funds, you will get all the funds into your new bank account when it is set up.
